MOM of Management committee meeting of ANECAA held on 14-11-09 PDF Print E-mail

The management committee meeting was held on 14-11-09 at 06:30 PM at the residence of Mr.K Durga Rao., Member of the committee. The meeting was presided by Mr.T Rajagopal, Vice President.

The following members were present.

The following items of the agenda were deliberated and the proceedings are as given below.

1. Merit Awards to topper of CEA.
Proposal to give away awards at college alumni day at Anantapur as suggested by principal CEA was explained to all the members. After thorough discussion, it was decided to give the awards at college alumni day falling in July 2010 for toppers of 2009-10.

However, the awards for 2008-09 will be given during AGM cum gettogether being held on 20-12-09. Secretary will communicate with toppers and invite them formally and send invitation in advance.

2. Annual General Body Meeting and Get-together.
The AGM will be held on 20-12-09 at Genco building. Mr. Durga Rao has confirmed reservation of auditorium for this purpose.

Two committees were formed for arrangements for AGM Venue. Meeting arrangements including lunch will be organized by Mr.Durga Rao, Mr.Indrasena Reddy and Mr. K A Ramayya.

Entertainment, games, Tambola etc will be arranged by Satyananda Rao, Gopala Krishna and Ramakrishnaiah.

Review meeting will be held well before the AGM to assess the preparedness and to fine-tune the scheduling.

3. Amendment to the bye-laws of ANECAA to remove restrictions for continuation of Members and office bearers.
After discussion, it was felt that no necessity to amend byelaws as provision exists for reelection.

4. Other Items.

  1. Timing of monthly management committee.
    To overcome traffic congestions and to facilitate members to attend meetings without any inconvenience it was decided to hold meeting from 4 PM to 6PM in future.

  2. Contributions for merit awards and scholarships.
    The identified potential donors will be approached in groups for mobilizing funds.
